Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

"You go deep enough or far out enough in consciousness and you will bump into the sacred. It’s not something we generate; it’s something out there waiting to be discovered. ”
— Michael Pollan
Approach
Inspired by the increasing body of research and double-blind studies conducted at Johns Hopkins University, UCLA, Harvard, and the Imperial College London, our approach to psychedelic-assisted therapy is based on the growing need for clinical competence and harm reduction. We strictly adhere to the current standards of practice outlined by the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association and the legal codes within the jurisdiction where services are provided. We believe that psychedelics alone are not the answer or a "silver bullet." Much of our approach consists of psychoeducation, dispelling common myths and trends associated with the “psychedelic renaissance,” and helping our clients develop a comprehensive plan for the preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences.

Expertise
All our psychedelic-assisted therapy practitioners have completed advanced training, supervision, and experiential practice working alongside medical providers assisting clients in altered states of consciousness. We utilize a team approach, recognizing the need for integrative holistic care that addresses the physical, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of this practice. We collaborate with a wide range of specialists and work closely with family members to ensure our clients and their loved ones receive the highest quality of integrated support. We prioritize continuing education and staying current with the latest research and best practices in this evolving field. Most importantly, we believe an essential aspect of assisting our clients resides in a commitment to “doing our own work,” remaining humble and curious, and recognizing that we cannot take our clients further than we have gone ourselves.

Method
Our practitioners are dedicated to integrating the art and science of psychedelic healing and consciousness development. We strive to create a multi-modal approach, offering clients a wide range of choices for experiential practice including breathwork, guided imagery, expressive art, music, yoga, time in nature, mindfulness and meditation, and the opportunity to explore different shamanic traditions. Much of the power in this work resides in the practice of compassionate self-inquiry and opening space to integrate breakthrough experiences into daily life. Our ultimate goal is to empower our clients to access their inner wisdom, to facilitate transformative experiences in a responsible and ethical manner, and build a path towards translating non-ordinary states of consciousness into practical skills and meaningful action.
